Today is Singapore's 41st National Day Celebrations. With a touch of patriotism, Daddy and Mummy also tried to 'celebrate' my first Singaporean National Day.
It was a quiet little affair... erm.. because WE ARE IN AUSTRALIA!!!??!!
Anyway, Daddy came home from work and quickly sat down at the computer. Mummy was making dinner while I was pestering the dog... which eventually resulted in Daddy having to chase after me.
at around 8pm, everything went crazy...
the TV was on.. because Mummy was trying to catch the episode of her favourite serial - House - while Daddy was trying to get connected online to watch the live internet broadcast of the NDP in Singapore. The whole house was probably contributing to noise pollution like you won't believe it.
Unfortunately, nothing happened online.... and I mean NOT A THING HAPPENED...which was a little disappointing... we ended up watching the broadcast again the next day... while Daddy was proudly telling us stories of his days in the army when he used to carry the flag and *blah blah blah**** YAWN!!!!!!!
